Construyendo Salud [Building your Health]
General description
“Construyendo Salud” (C.S.) is a universal oriented MULTI-component intervention that aims to prevent teenagers from starting using drugs or developing any other type of problematic behaviour in their early adolescence. The C.S. project is based on ten years of research experience focused on the design, rigorous assessment and broadening of a prevention programme aimed at the first stages of adolescence.
One of the most relevant characteristics of the C.S. project is the integration of its school and family components. Combining both components very satisfactory results can be achieved. It is the great potential of this joint work of school children and their families what makes “Construyendo Salud” so different from other school intervention programmes.
Target group
School children in their last Primary School year or in the first two years of Secondary School (11-14 years old) and their families.
