UDIPRE / Research Unit on Prevention and Treatment of Behaviour Problems
The Research Unit on Prevention and Treatment of Behaviour Problems (UDIPRE) consists of a group of professors and researchers working at the Psychology Faculty of the University of Santiago de Compostela who are specialized in prevention of behavioural problems during childhood and adolescence.
Our main purpose is to make accessible to the society all existing scientific knowledge in the field of behaviour problems in children and teenagers and its prevention. Aggressive behaviour, violence in schools, drug use and delinquency are problems that can affect children and teenagers, make their familiy, school and social life more difficult and cause worries and misgivings in current society.
Our aim is to provide the community with several services (training, advising, intervention, needs assessment, design and evaluation of programmes), so that those parents, teachers and professionals concerned with the health and well-being of children and teenagers have at disposal all necessary tools to face behavioural problems successfully.
On this web site you can find a detailed description of the people working within the research group and information on our experience, work and on the training, advising and intervention services we offer. |
